GPS Police Inc. develops and sells GPS vehicle tracking systems to companies large and small. GPS Police was established in 2003 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Since introducing LINK in 2004, GPS Police has experienced rapid growth in the vehicle tracking industry with a wide variety of customers across Canada and the USA. “It just works.” One reason why our customers love LINK is that we have taken the time to put a friendly face on complex technology. While LINK has become more powerful and feature-rich since its introduction, it's always remained simple to use: Sit down, sign in, and start tracking your vehicles, without ever installing software or opening a manual—always our design goal, in a nutshell. BaseLocBaseLoc is a software division of GPS Police based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. BaseLoc develops and maintains HQ, the vehicle tracking software that GPS Police customers use to track their vehicles. It has also developed a number of free mapping tools used by oil field and well services companies across western Canada. The Alberta Township System (ATS), GPS and Universal Transverse Mercator (UTM) are common coordinate systems used, and LINK is the only GPS tracking device in the world that reports its location in all three formats. To see the convertor and mapper in action, try BaseLoc's free, public Alberta Township System / Legal Subdivision Mapper. |
